Physical Therapy Services

   What is Physical Therapy?

Physical Therapy is the use of massage, exercise, joint mobilizations and modalities to better improve the quality of life for individuals affected by chronic pain or dysfunctions in the musculoskeletal system or nervous system.

How and when would physical therapy help my child?

Each child is unique in his/her development. Gross motor skills (such as sitting, crawling, walking, etc.) develop at different stages in a child's life. Some children may need assistance to develop these skills or to progress to the next level. Physical therapy can help assist children in developing these skills. A licensed physical therapist or physical therapist's assistant will help with positioning exercises and, when necessary, adaptations to give your child the skills necessary to function independently with their peers.
