Nicole L. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Nicole is trained in pediatrics and geriatrics. She joined Positive Results in August 2005 and holds an Associates of Science and Associates of Arts from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA. She treats children ages 18 months to adolescence/teen. The most important factor to a patient’s success, Nicole says, is focusing on individuals’ deficits not diagnosis and to never give up! Some of her experience includes but is not limited to autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, hydrocephalus, shaken baby syndrome, sensory integration dysfunction, and global developmental delay. Her continuing education courses include but are not limited to Arthritis Aquatics Instructor certification, CPR and First Aid Certification, Integrated Playgroups for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Practical Sense inSensory Integration, and The Essentials of Special Education. Since a young girl Nicole's favorite quote has been “I think I can, I think I can” from the Little Engine That Could. |
